I adore this album! “Home” is my very favorite. I had no idea that Barbra had recorded this Charlie Small gem from “The Wiz”. The collaboration of Michel Legrand and the Bergmans is so beautiful. I just love their song “Mother and Child”. The Jimmy Webb classic “Didn’t We” is stellar. Barbra sang this at her concert at the forum. It’s as perfect as a song can be. I’d Love it if Barbra devoted an entire album featuring the songs of Jimmy Webb. “Release Me” certainly did not disappoint. The songs are terrific and Barbra is a force of nature!
